I have been a huge fan of Hotter Shoes for the last 2 years and own a few pairs now. Boots for the winter, ballerinas to wear in autumn and some pastel coloured trainers to work out in. The only thing missing off that list are some pretty sandals but thanks to a great Competition at BlogOnX in May which I entered and won I was lucky enough to choose a pair from their wide range of sandals on offer on their website! Its funny really back when I was a Teenager all I was living in throughout the summer was Flip Flops. I had a collection of about 20 pairs at least and always went for cheap and cheerful not really thinking about my feet and their comfort at all! Now in my 30s I am all about quality rather than quantity and despite still owning 2 pairs of Flip Flops on a day where I am active and walking a lot I rather wear some sandals for comfort!
I have to admit choosing which pair of sandals I want was rather tricky and I was torn between the Flare Sandals and the Sol Sandals which both come in 5 to 6 different colour ways! I wanted a pair of sandals which I can use on the schoolrun as well as going out (childfree and all dressed up) so in the end the Sol Sandals won because I adored the look of the soft gold leather! The Flare Sandals do have a rose-gold/silver colour but it looked a little bit too busy for my taste! Both pairs are 65£ which might seem a little bit on the expensive but can you really put a price on comfort? Hotter shoes are most certainly made to last for a very long time so considering that I think there are great value for money!
The very on-trend gladiator style sandals are made out of soft shiny metallic leather and has three adjustable touch-close straps as well as adjustable ankle support! The cushioned and contoured footbed sits on top of some flexible and lightweight soles:
What I love with all the shoes I got from Hotter is that they cater for half sizes as well as wide fits. As soon as you put on a pair of Hotter shoes on your feet you know there are just as comfortable as shoes you have worn for years! No blisters or red markings at all just great comfort and style all the way! I have worn my new Sol Sandals for Finn’s Communion the other week and despite entertaining the kids and having our large family over for the day and me doing what felt like at least a couple of thousand steps (not sure really how many I did because I don’t own a Fitbit to track anything) they felt just as comfy to wear then when I put them on in the morning!

Disclaimer: I have entered and won a Competition from Hotter at BlogOnX to review a pair of shoes of my choice, but all thoughts and opinions are mine.
