Cosmo All You Can Eat World Buffet Restaurant Bournemouth – Review

Reviews

AD | Review. We have been invited to visit the brand new Cosmo Restaurant in Bournemouth to try out their wide range of culinary delights. If you never heard of Cosmo before it is an All You Can Eat World Buffet Restaurant which recently opened up right in the heart of Bournemouth town making it the perfect spot for lunch or dinner.

We decided to leave the kids at home with a babysitter and make this our official first date night of 2022 so a special and rather rare occasion for us.

The restaurant itself has a gorgeous interior which is warm and welcoming, it was very clean & spotless not only in the restaurant but also in the restrooms and there is plenty of different seating areas from the smaller booth table (which we are opted for) to large family style tables with plenty of highchairs and enough room for pushchairs or wheelchairs to navigate around to your table. Mr. C. commented on how very spotless and clean It is definitely a restaurant which is great for families as well as just couples wanting to enjoy a nice meal out.

And let me tell you there is a dish for everyone from your fussy little eaters to those who appreciate the more finer things on their plates. With over 150 freshly prepared dishes available you can go on a trip around the world. From Italian, British, Greek, Japanese, French, Chinese, Indian whatever your craving is Cosmo has got you covered. It is all lined up very appealing to the eye and everything is labeled which is important for those who might have certain food intolerances.

We went for a starter followed by main then another main (because why not) and maybe 2 desert plates because I couldn’t choose what I wanted, the small little cakes made it easier to not feel guilty for trying them all. I have to be honest our reservation time of Sunday 7pm did make of a less busy restaurant which was nice but a few sections of the buffet was a little bare (particular the sushi and desert area) but I do understand it was near the closing time and I didn’t let this stop myself from trying plenty of the delicious food that was on offer. My favourite was probably the sushi as well as the asian section and the Eton Mess desert was delicious! Mr. C. loved the spaghetti bolognese and all the meat dishes that where on offer especially the carvery!

Just before we left the restaurant I saw this sign in the reception area which I thought is fantastic all children under 155cm are charged kids price (£10.50). There is a small charge for infants under five years dining at the restaurant which is £2.99.

Also if you are a working for NHS, Emergency or the Armed Forces (as well as Students) you can get 10% off the food bill and Student Freshers can dine for only £15 at Cosmo Bournemouth.

To round up our first dining experience at Cosmo Bournemouth, we really enjoyed our dinner and eat far too much and we want to return with the kids next time! My eldest is very fussy but I am more then sure that there will be plenty of food for him to try especially his beloved burger and chips, but also the fruit selection with the chocolate fountain would be a huge hit with my two when we visit next. On the way to the restroom I also saw that the automated robots went to a table and sung happy birthday whilst bringing a birthday cake to the birthday child which I thought was a great experience for any child or even grown up to have on their special day. We personally haven’t tried the robot service on our visit so I can’t say more about it.

You can enjoy lunch for £20.99* and dinner Monday to Thursday for £18.99 and on the weekend for £20.99 with kids prices being £10.50 per head which I found as reasonable seeing the huge variety of food they have on offer. Next time I make sure I won’t be the driver so I can enjoy some of their deliciously sounding cocktails but this time I opted for the unlimited refill of soft drinks which had a good variety to choose from! You can either book online via the Cosmo Bournemouth website or they also take walk in customers but there might be a short waiting time at busy periods.

Disclaimer: We have been offered a table for 2 including 1 drink in exchange for a  review, but all thoughts and opinions are mine.

*Times and prices may differ during school holidays and festive seasons.

My eldest has been to the Cosmo closest to us in Doncaster and loved it. It sounds like you had a great time. x
