Ascarium: Tricks & Treats this October at SEA LIFE Weymouth

Days Out Events Reviews

AD | Review. SEA LIFE Weymouth are turning their Aquarium into Ascarium with Trick & Treats this October and we headed there on the opening weekend to check out their spooky family fun!

Upon arrival we received the Trick & Treat activity sheet with lots of ‘spook-splash-tic’ challenges we had to complete to help the Sea Witch and Warlock look after their ocean home and fellow sea creatures. The fun activity trail and the magical challenges took us all around the aquarium and we even came across the Witches little hut!

Outside the hut there was a cool photo opportunity and the girls had lots of fun whilst waiting.

Once it was our time to enter her spooky home we couldn’t wait to hear what spells and games she had in store for us! For the brave ones there are even barrels with slimey, hairy (thankfully very sleepy hairy somethings) and a nice surprise waiting for you! Witch Serafina was just amazing with the girls and they where captured from the moment they entered her cabin!

Despite the weather being rather wet with rain on and off throughout the day we manage to stay pretty dry thanks to plenty of inside places to explore at SEA LIFE Weymouth.

Alongside the brilliant new Ascarium Event which is on until Monday 31st October 2022, there is so much more to explore and despite us visiting many times we always love to return you can come face to fin with over 1,000 creatures across 11 different themed zones including sharks, seals, penguins, and an octopus!

We also did the ‘Fish for Facts’ sheet you can get at the entrance where you can try and answer questions for each zone and get a reward at the end the girls loved it:

Pre booking is recommended (you can choose a time slot) and you get 10% off!

The best thing is if you are booking your tickets online you can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your arrival time and under 3’s go free! Its a brilliant family day out!

Head to the SEA LIFE Weymouth website to book your tickets now and have a spooktastic time this October!
