Celebrating #HotterBournemouth 10th Anniversary from way up high!

Days Out Events Fashion Reviews

Not even a week has passed since we have moved to Bournemouth when I got invited to a rather special birthday celebration! The Hotter Store in Bournemouth has just celebrated its 10th Birthday Anniversary in the popular seaside town so what better way to launch myself off the pier zip wearing a pair of trainers from this seasons active range right? Together with a bunch of fellow Bournemouth Bloggers (who were also brave enough to have a go!) I firstly got all harnessed up before we all headed up the rather tall round staircase to get onto the platform high above the pier. Check out the view it is rather something:

Kara from ChelseaMamma who’s a pro on the pier zip told me to not jump off the platform but to try to sit in the harness first to get a feel for it and then step off the platform whilst leaning backwards into the harness so I did just that. Launching myself off the platform was less scary than I had imagine and the rush off “flying” down there was pretty amazing that I spontaneously decided to have another go because why not! Check out this cool shot of my second turn taken by Waveslider Photography:

Especially for this occasion Hotter have kindly send me their new Stellar shoes how awesome do they look in the peach colour! You can experience the ultimate in comfort and performance from the latest evolution of their active footwear. The breathability of Stellar’s coloured mesh upper is complemented by the flexibility of its lightweight sole, whose innovative design features millions of tiny air bubbles, and delightfully cushioned leather insoles:

As a thank you for taking part on the zip wire and have some pictures snapped of my snazzy new shoes the lovely Hotter team invited us to a little celebration dinner at the Aruba Restaurant overlooking the Pier. I went for a fish & gnocchi dish with a rather tasty Pina Colada:

Check out the full Active Range over on the Hotter website and if you like the look of the Stellar Shoes (who also come in mint and navy colour) as much as I do there currently reduced from £65 down to £33!!

PS: If you are crazy enough and you visiting Bournemouth this summer check out more info about the Rock Reef PierZip on the Bournemouth Pier website.

Disclaimer: Hotter Shoes invited me to do the Bournemouth Pier Zip and gifted me with a pair of shoes for this occasion but did not force me to be crazy enough to actually do it twice!

So glad you enjoyed throwing yourself off Bournemouth Pier. It is nerve wracking at first but it’s worth it. I am still gutted I missed out on cocktails 😉
