Molly-May’s 6th Birthday BFF Sleepover Party with Dreamcatcher Sleepover Parties!

Birthday Children Molly-May Parties Reviews

AD – Gifted. If you have been following my blog for a while you might remember that I hosted a rather epic Harry Potter Sleepover Party for Finnster’s 9th Birthday last summer with all his mates so this year it was Molly-May’s turn! As much as I loved creating his party when it was all over and Molly-May asked me to have a sleepover for her birthday too, I knew there was no chance I would do it with so many children again especially since she is only turning 6. So the plan was for a BFF Birthday sleepover with her bestie Lily the weekend after her actual birthday (which was back in early February).

The Dreamcatcher Team set up everything within 30 minutes and the only thing for me to do afterwards was some finishing touches like the Happy Birthday banner as well as a massive unicorn balloon (which I picked up from Home Bargains) next to the set up. When Molly-May and her friend Lily arrived back home they where so exited when they saw their sleepover set up because who wouldn’t be right:

Inside the tent there are comfortable beds (which can be extended for older children) as well as bedding and themed decorative cushions. On the breakfast trays you can find themed placemats, hot chocolate mugs (I added the paper straws), Lanterns with LED tea lights, a unicorn night light, some midnight feast boxes (for you to fill), fluffy sleep masks (for the girls to keep) and a blackboard heart for you to write down the kids names. Decor wise around the tents there are decorative lights, some dreamcatchers and a unicorn on top of each tent:

I put together a special Goodie Bag for the girls which basically meant they occupied themselves most of the time with what they found inside! I bought them matching unicorn PJs from Matalan as well as lots of little goodies from Home Bargains. A magical diary with a pencil, a bracelet, some pink hair bows, some socks, a leopard face sheet mask and some chocolates:

The girls weren’t too sure about the masks but did let me take a quick picture of them before we took them off again apparently their too cold and slippery on their faces. The Unicorn headbands where a little special  extra present from the Dreamcatcher girls and made the perfect accessories to keep their long hair away from the face for the very short pampering session:

The girls loved the diaries and spend a good few hours writing secret stuff inside it and giggling all the way. They also watched the Beauty and the Beast with some of their favourite cinema sweets and of course as axpected bedtime took a little bit longer then usual but by 10pm I had 2 very sleepy girls inside their tents out for the count! The sleeping masks where a big hit and the girls loved pulling some silly faces with them on:

The next morning the girls decided to dress up in matching striped outfits for the day and asked me to put their hair in matching styles too:

Then we went to have a little baking session I made them some plain vanilla cupcakes the day before and they decorated them with all the sprinkles I could find the in the baking cupboard look at how concentrated their faces are and in the end we had plenty of cupcakes and smiley faces all around:

Molly-May and Lily both had a great time and said the best part of the sleepover was their tents and their secret Diaries! I loved the fact that with so little effort and of course the help from the Dreamcatcher Team we managed to pull something magical off so easily! If you’re thinking of hosting a stress free birthday sleepover or even give your little one and her bestie a special treat I can’t recommend the company enough!

Here are few more details about the BFF sleepover package from Dreamcatcher Sleepover Parties:

You can book a BFF sleepover party with 2 tents simply by requesting a booking form once the chosen date is confirmed, they will then take 50% deposit to secure the party and arrange times for setting up and taking down again. A Dreamcatcher Sleepover BFF party package is £70 and there are plenty of fantastic themes to choose from. You can have the magical unicorns or fairy packages or something cool like a games theme or even recreate some wizard magic! Go and check out Finn’s Harry Potter themed sleepover to see how magical it could be!

You can find Dreamcatcher Sleepover Parties on Facebook, all the pretty pictures of their set ups are over on Instagram and you can also head over to their website for some more information!

Disclaimer: I have received this BFF Sleepover party package in exchange for HP decorations to the company, DC Parties have not asked me to write about the party but I wanted to write about the party anyway so I thought I share my thoughts.
