I am pretty sure I am not only person who feels like that but there is at least 2 or 3 people in my family and friends circle who are really hard to buy for come birthdays! Finn’s Godfather Paul is exactly that one. He likes the finer things in life and treats himself when he wants to and with him turning 50 this year it was pretty hard to find the perfect present for him! His birthday has been and gone now and I somehow got very snap happy on his amazing birthday party which started at a pub went onto a private movie screening and then onto a party boat! We all had a brilliant time so I thought why not treasure these moments some more and put all the snaps into one book to present to the Birthday Boy!
After working with Cheerz earlier this year on Mother’s Day with their lovely Fridge Heart Magnets I knew that I come to the right place to create a photo album!
Cheerz has a wide range of options from Soft to Hardcover starting from 16£ onwards, the also have different high quality photo paper options, albums in various sizes as well as window photo books to showcase your best pictures and a premium photobook with lay flat opening pages which makes the perfect photo album for your wedding pictures! I think that will be my next project because even after 3 years of being married I am yet to create a photo album from our best pictures!
Uploading and inserting the pictures into the pages was a quick and easy job, Cheerz also gives you the option of filling the album automatically and you can tweak it if you aren’t happy! There are 26 Pages and each extra double page is only an added on 20p! I went for the Hardcover 28×28 option with a few extra pages (2 extra to be precise) to fit all of my 74 pictures in. On the Front of the Album there is the option for a full picture or Square/Circle/Diamond with or without added album title, you can choose between various themes like birthday, family, birth,… and also decide between 12 different colours of the front page background.
You can choose between 1 and 4 pictures per page and with that you have 4 layout options each! Considering most of my pictures have been taken with a mobile phone I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of all the pictures:
Despite warning that one of the pictures I have chosen (the one below with the red background) was low quality I took a risk and to be honest, yes it is a little bit blurry but still nice enough to be in the album:
I ordered the book on a Friday and by the following Wednesday I received a email confirmation that it has been shipped and a day later Yodel delivered the parcel so overall a pretty quick turnaround of 6 days (excluding the weekend). You can obviously choose to add some text to your pictures but I decided to make it a little more personal and let the whole family write a few things in the book instead. I also loved that the last page of the photo album is covered with all the pictures featured in the album in black and white. Another nice little touch which came with my order was the personalised note you can add and they even threw in a free heart magnet (always handy to have magnets for the fridge) and a 20% off voucher for my next order!
When was the last time you created a photo album for a loved one or even yourself to put all those memories into pages to look back to?
Well if you can’t remember and I have given you some inspiration maybe a 10% discount might help you along to get started? Use my code “10GERMANWIFE” for 10% off your next order at Cheerz, the code is valid until the 7th October! Happy Memory creating!
