Finn’s 8th Nerf Attack Birthday Party

Birthday Children Finn Party Reviews

For Finn’s 8th Birthday party he has chosen a Nerf Theme and after a bit of research I found a company based in Bournemouth called Nerf Attack Outdoor Activity Parties who hosts Nerf parties as well as Bushcraft parties at their brand new location in Upton Country Park in Poole. The forest area where the party is on has a lot of trees which makes it the perfect place to hide from the opposite team whilst battling it out Nerf Attack style!

I booked the basic Nerf party package for 179£ which included a 2 hour party for 10 participants it included full instructor led games using Nerf guns – All guns, darts and equipment are included Party food and drinks – Crisps, Jumbo American Style Hotdogs and a toasted marshmallow between two chocolate biscuits (S’more). Additional participants are £7.50 per person, which can be paid on the day.

This is the setup of the Party table, food area and cooking area. As I mentioned before the battle filed and party area it is in a very hidden spot at Upton Country Part with lots of trees for shading and they also have an extra large sunshade above the table made out of hay balls:

To start with the Team consisting of Jack, Charles and Izzy did a little warm up game and then once the kids where all kited out with safety glasses, vests, wristbands and most importantly there Nerf guns the battles commenced and all the boys had massive smiles on their faces returning back to camp once they where all battled out!

Then it was onto feeding the troops and all the kids loved the massive Hot Dogs and it was great that they all could choose their favourite Crisps themselves at the snack&drink station!

For desert they all could come up to the little kitchen station and enjoyed making their very own S’mores together with Jack & Charles:

No party would be completed without a Birthday cake right? Finn’s Birthday Cupcakes where the only things not Nerf themed that day! They came in form of some evil Minions (Finn’s favourite alongside Nerf and dinosaurs right now!) and I used our fantastic Cakemaker Michelle from Sculpted Bakes who did Finn’s Ghostbuster Cake and slimey Cupcakes for last years party. Once again she worked her magic and made the most delicious and evil looking Minion Cupcake. Finn and his mates all loved them (I slightly cheated and bought a shop Minion Cake for the kids to eat at the party so they could take the fancy cupcake home with them to enjoy later):

The kids had an absolute blast and the Nerf Attack Team did a brilliant job all the way through the duration of the party to keep the kids entertained! I cannot recommend them enough and who knows maybe Finn even fancies a Bushcraft party next year!

PS: You might wonder why there are no girls in sight on the pictures that is because Molly-May and her friends (siblings of the guests) have had their very own Picnic Party alongside Finn’s Nerf Attack Party you can check out what I organised to keep them all occupied in ‘A Picnic Party & Party Bags for the Girls’.

If you are interested in the Invites and Party Bags I have made for Finn’s Nerf Attack Party you can check out my post about how to Make your own Nerf Attack Party Invites as well as Make your own Nerf Attack Party Bags & Bottle Tags!

Do you love organising your little ones birthday party? It’s somehow my highlight of the year and all the hours I put into are all worth it when I see that smile on their faces!

Disclaimer: I have paid for the Nerf Attack Party myself but I wanted to write a review about it to share our experience, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
