Celebrating the Launch of Temple Spa at the Bluewater Spa at The Connaught Hotel in Bournemouth

blogging Days Out Events Health & Fitness Lifestyle Skincare & Beauty UK Breaks

Who doesn’t love a good Spa! Some childfree time to sit back and relax, get spoiled and maybe even find some time to read a book that sounds like heaven right? So when I got an email asking if I want to come along to The Connaught Hotel in Bournemouth for their celebration of Bluewater Spa’s exciting new look and partnership with British lifestyle brand Temple Spa, I couldn’t wait to visit and explore. I brought along my friend Fee for the evening which was filled with live music, free hand massages, prosecco and canapé’s as well as a full tour of the spa.

With everything from Swedish and aromatherapy massage, to salt body scrubs, mud therapy and skin clearing facials. In addition to manicures, waxing, and gentleman-only treatments. A booking at the Bluewater Spa is the perfect TLC treat to yourself or a great present to gift! The large-sized pool as well as the jacuzzi are very welcoming and its a lovely first sight to see when you walk down the stairs into the reception area of the spa which has a whole glass front looking into the pool!

AN OASIS TO RELAX,
RETREAT AND RECHARGE

Named after its magnificent azure blue swimming pool, the Bluewater Spa is the perfect place to escape life’s stresses and unwind with a luxurious treatment. A mobile-free zone, the spa is designed with relaxation in mind, and that’s exactly how you’ll feel following a visit. The facilities include a steam room and sauna, fully equipped gym and a relaxation lounge. Together with private therapy suites where guests and spa members can book in for one of Bluewaters’ nourishing Temple Spa treatments inspired by the Mediterranean.

The Bluewater Spa features:

  • 18m indoor swimming pool – heated to 28°C Spa pool
  • Spa Pool – heated to 37°C
  • Double sauna with discreet lighting for a relaxed atmosphere
  • Eucalyptus infused steam room with mood lighting
  • Full gym with cardio-vascular equipment, weight machines and free-weights
  • Changing rooms with lockers and showers
  • Beauty therapy suites & relaxation lounge
All the treatment rooms (from single to couple rooms) as well as the large relaxation lounge all have a bit of a Moroccan style to it which I absolutely love:
Each room was so welcoming and smelled divine with all the scented Temple Spa candles around! I think If I would have sat down on the huge lounge chairs in the Relaxation room I could have easily drifted off.

You can find a full list of prices and treatments inside the digital Bluewater Spa Brochure. I think it’s a lovely looking spa and is now defiantly on my list if my husband ever wants to treat me for an afternoon of pampering and some relaxing childfree time to energize and forget the day-to-day stress!

The Connaught Hotel & Spa is based at the West Cliff in Bournemouth just a stone throw away from the beach and the city which makes it the perfect base for a relaxing stay using the Bluewater Spa and exploring Bournemouth or just take a stroll down the seafront.

When was the last time you treated yourself to some me time and went for a Spa Day or Treatment?

Disclaimer: I have been invited to attend the Event at The Connaught Hotel & Bluewater Spa and received a goody bag as a thank you, but all thoughts and opinions are my own!
