Become a LEGO Ocean Explorer at Weymouth SEA LIFE

Children Days Out Reviews Travel

After our return back from our Germany holidays we could not wait to visit SEA LIFE Weymouth again and we brought Laura from Max and Mummy and Max along for a fun day out! Because whilst we where away SEA LIFE Weymouth started a new summer adventure where you could dive into the deep with the new LEGO adventure, Ocean Explorers. You can discover new depths of the ocean whilst helping the LEGO deep sea diver track down his missing equipment.

We picked up our LEGO Ocean Explorer Leaflet and off we went to find the 5 hidden LEGO pieces in the mystery tanks. The Kids and us had lots of fun to solve this challenge and eagerly walked around the different stations try finding all the missing pieces which varied from diving masks to radios:

As a reward of becoming a certified SEA LIFE Junior Diver the kids received their very own LEGO diver Minifigure to take home which we picked up in the centre’s event zone. But the fun did not stop here! Inside the event zone building which is right outside the splash zone where 2 brick pits where you could build your very own LEGO creation or use a step by step guide to create fun sea creatures, or simply let creativity takeover to build unique creations.

There was a display area for children to add their LEGO creations and a pretty backdrop where you could take pictures of your children with the creations to share on your social media #sealifeminibuild.

Alongside the brick pits they also had a giant Lego mosaic displayed on the wall where you could create your very own square to add-on to finish off the picture. Finn happened to get the eye of a little Nemo fish to create which looked pretty cool:

You can also enter the LEGO Ocean Explorers competition where one lucky winner will be chosen every week to win a National SEA LIFE Annual Pass and all entrants will be in with a chance of winning the grand prize, a family trip to LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

You can visit SEA LIFE Weymouth to take part in LEGO Ocean Explorers until the 30th September for this fun and educational experience is perfect for the whole family to enjoy!
