I am turning 34 this week and even though celebrating my birthday isn’t really a big priority anymore since having both kids in our lives but that doesn’t mean that I can dream of some lovely nice presents right? The kids and me are heading to Germany for the half term which always falls on my birthday and with my Dad’s birthday being the day before mine we always have double celebration which is pretty nice!
After reading on my friend Janine’s Afternoon Bucket List over on her blog Janine’s Little World I decided I would love to explore some Afternoon Tea Places in my new hometown too! I was lucky enough to be invited by Bournemouth Bloggers last December to try out the festive Afternoon Tea at the Level8ight The Sky Bar in the Hilton Bournemouth and that gave me a taste of wanting to check out some other places too!
I love reading books before watching the series and with Big Little Lies not being on normal TV but having heard so much good things about the show after reading the book and absolutely loving it I decided it’s about time to jump on the bandwagon and get the Box Set for Series 1.
If you would have asked me about my skincare and make up routine 4 years ago I could have listed you my products on 1 hand. But with the wedding in 2015 I decided it’s about time to find the right products and learn how to do it (I am still learning daily though). I have experimented a lot these last 3 years but feel like I am slowly getting onto the right track and I absolutely love using Weleda Skinfood at nighttime it does work wonders for my dry skin!
Another thing which has been on my wishlist for quite some time and I have started to save up for to treat my self as a present is a Semi Permanent Eyebrows Treatment. End of February I finally booked to have my eyebrows micro bladed by a local artist and I cannot wait! I will write about the whole process once I have had it done!
I know it’s not for everybody but I would love to see where all my ancestor are from. My mum did do a very extended Family tree from her very large family but with a Anchestry DNA Kit you can not only find out the origin but so much more and the Ancestry database even lets you check out who might share some DNA with you (if you want that, that is!) and so much more.
The last thing I would love to get for my birthday is A Day in London with my lovely cousin. Despite seeing each other once a month when we travel to North London its always with the kids so it would be great to spend a day with just the 2 of us in London. One of the things I cannot wait to do is visit The Ordinary Store in Convent Garden to get colour matched with their famous and very reasonable priced Serum Foundation and I think indulging in some yummy sushi would round-up our day out pretty nicely too!
What do you have on your Wishlist for your special day this year?
