Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge Kit – Review

Children Reviews Toys & Games

Just in time for Christmas Hot Wheels® have brought out a brand new Track Builder ™ Set for all the budding car enthusiastic children age 5 and over! This set is Finn’s answer to heaven with a Hot Wheels track which is fully brick compatible which means there is even more fun to be had with his passion of brick building and his love of cars and racing combined tracks to create some fantastic speedy car adventures!

The Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge which has a motorised bridge and has three sets in one, with multiple configurations so you can move around the bricks and bridge and try to tackle the next challenge.  Or use some of your own bricks to create some unique tracks and challenges for your Hot Wheels Cars to conquer! Like any other Hot Wheel Sets you can combine the bridge with other tracks to make it even bigger and better to play with your friends and set yourself some new challenges along the way!

The 70 pieces Set comes in a re-closable box which is covered in some cool monster designs but not only that the large blue monster can be pushed out of the lid and used with the set to act as a super challenge to see if your car can jump through the monsters mouth! Finns favourite part was building the Bricks and he loved the fact that the Hot Wheels Car that came with the set is brick compatible too! You might not be able to launch your car with a Lego man inside to fly over the bridge but Finn loved driving the car around the floor with his pilot holding on tight on top if his super speedy car:

We had lots of fun building the track and adding the bricks for our first ever Hot Wheel Challenge, yes I admit we are newbies when it comes to Hot Wheels Tracks. Finn does have plenty of the Hot Wheels Cars but we never had any track to go with so this is double exiting not only for him but I cant wait to get stuck in with the kids and their new track too! The Instructions where very easy and simple and Finn did most of the track building himself with me only giving him a hand with adding some batteries to the set.

You can most certainly let you imagination run wild with this track there are 3 suggested challenges (we tried out the first one where we added 2 platforms for the cars to land whilst the 2. part of the bridge is all the way up). It was fun trialling what worked best from having the bridge mid-way up to try to get the cars to jump over the gap down to the other side, to having both sides of the bridge down and trying to hit the Monster on top of the bridge:

Here is a little clip to show you Finn’s first efforts in getting the cars over the bridge whilst his sister was cheering him on:

The RRP for the new Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge Kit is £49.99 and can be purchased at any good retailer. It is recommended from age 5 and over due to the small parts of the bricks! Please note that you need to add 2x Size D Batteries to make the motorised bridge work whom are not included in the set!

I can see this set being a firm favourite for quite some time to come for Finn and any of his mates visiting us mainly due to the fact that its brick compatible and Finn loves to create his own little inventions which he can bring to live adding it onto the Track Builder Set!
