I just returned from a childfree weekend in Manchester where I attended another pretty fabulous BlogOn Conference once again the September one is dedicated to all things Xmas so I got some puds and showed them off because why the heck not!! This time BlogOn Xmas was in a all new location and venue at the rather impressive Hotel Football which has a shower big enough for the whole team (not that I have tried it!) and some spectacular Eggs Benedict for breakfast what more do you want! So enough rambling here is my post dedicated to the weekend!
You know it’s been a bloody good BlogOn if…
…you get chauffeured by the loveliest Welsh lady aka Debbie in a swish Jaguar!
…you laugh so hard that you nearly pee yourself when James from You Have To Laugh presented the funniest opening keynote ever told on BlogOn!
…you play Sara-Jayne’s personal German Bodyguard to keep away the special ones! #insiderjoke
…you catch up with the loveliest PR’s and meet some equally lovely new ones!
…you get some free sexy knickers in the correct size!!
…you get rescued from a crazy lift by the awesome Pen Man aka Simon from Snopake .
…you finally convince that You Tube Blogger that you are really German….or maybe not?
…you get congratulated on the biggest Christmas puds at BlogOn – see above picture (sorry Helen)!
…you manage to avoid the claws of the Grinch all day until “Lift Gate” happens!
…you will be the Mum of the Year 2017 (in your sons eyes at least) on Christmas because you won him a slime blaster gun #GhostbustersMad
…you just about make your last train home with only 2 minutes spare thanks to your amazing getaway driver Danielle!!
….your feet are aching like mad because you DIDN’T wear your comfy Hotter Boots!! #BadMistake
…you loose your voice the next day and didn’t even drink a sip of alcohol!
…you don’t unpack your suitcase with the amazing goodie bag & raffle prizes until Monday night when the kids are in bed because catching up on sleep to become human again is more important!
Now that I have listened my personal highlights here are some from the other Bloggers who had an equally amazing time by the sounds of it:
…you feel like you have been hit by a train the next day! – True facts from the BlogOn Boss Laura – Tired Mummy of 2
…you end up wearing underwear that isn’t yours! – said The Mini Millionaire Cora.
…you have alarming gaps in your memory! – which happened to Fran from Whinge Whinge Wine.
…you start counting the days to the next one! – from a very eager Tim – Slouching towards Thatcham – and a like-minded Grace from Eats Amazing told me:
…you are wondering when Laura is going to release tickets for the next one!
…you have finally confirmation that the ‘friends’ in your laptop actually exist! – from Anna – Me, Annie Bee
….you have a ton of work to catch up on, but you’d rather trawl the #BlogOnXmas hashtag and look at everyone’s photos! – we can all agree on that Jenny – The Brick Castle
And one mistake that probably won’t be repeated by Louise – WeeOhana:
…you have to go out and buy another suitcase so you can get everything home!!
Last but not least here is one from the BlogOn Newbie Kei – Writing, Ramblings & Reviews:
….it was your first time and you dropped your sandwich on the way there, threw coke all over your car whilst navigating motorways and road works on the way home, were a little overwhelmed but still want to do it again. That’s the spirit Kei! See you next time for sure!!
This year I wasn’t as snap happy as previous times so here are a few of my favourite ones:
Danielle & I, My Name Badge personalised with a Monkey emoji, all the German’s Janine, Myself & Jenni and of course another pretty amazing choclate cake which was all about Luvabella this year (picture credit BlogOn Team).
What was your personal highlight of BlogOn Xmas 2017? Will you come back for more BlogOn fun next year? Let me know I would love to hear your thoughts!
