Nowadays there are so many monthly subscription boxes on the market, one for the expectant mother, for the new baby, make up boxes and I even have seen some razor blades subscription boxes but they aren’t really a lot for (older) kids so when I came across Fred’s Box I was exited to spot that the niche has been filled just perfectly and even more delighted that Fred’s Mum Clare who is the creator and owner of Fred’s Box thought about the (younger) siblings too, who lets face it most of the time are left out when the bigger child gets something exiting send right?
Here is a little bit more info about the Mojo Subscription Box:
The Mojo Subscription box is basically the same then the original Fred’s box but with double the fun. If you have twins or two siblings of different ages, different gender and different reading age you just fill out the question options provided so that the team can created a box suited for your children. Fred’s Mystery Monthly Box this is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. It’s a fun packed box filled with mystery goodies! It will always include an age appropriate reading book, trading cards, Ooshie (a different one each month for the over 5’s), or 4 x funky shaped Crayola Crayons (for the under 5’s) Fred’s Box pencil and sticker, 4 x design it yourself postcards plus between 2 and 5 mystery gifts!! The box will still fit through the letterbox so you won’t even need to be in to receive your goodies!
What we thought about the Mojo Subscription Box:
The kids are absolutely delighted with their goodies so here is a run down what we found in our box:
The Really Fun Activity book (which you can see above was a huge hit and they started drawing immediately MM with the adorable Fox Crayons Set and Finn with his new Fred’s Box Pencil and his supercool Batman Ooshie Figure on top of it) The Greedy Dog Usborne Book (I love the whole Usborne Books and MM is into dogs right now so its the perfect bed time story), a Magiki Mermaids Blind Bag, some Shopkins Cards, 2 snap on bracelets, a Finding Dory Memory Card game (in the perfect travel size and not too many), some Ninja Turtles Cards (Finn has a friend who adores them so he said he wants to gift them to him) a Star Wars Micro Machines Blind Bag with one of Finn’s favourite Tie Fighter inside (what are the chances!!), 2 cool Fred’s Box Pens, a Star Wars Top Trumps Game (great for our car journeys to London), a supercute Batman Oooshie, a Star Wars Sticker book (who doesn’t like stickers) and last but not least a Star Wars Readers book which will come in very handy for reading practice! The Box also included some Fred’s Box Stickers and some postcards which are a lovely touch (and as you can see she is rather chuffed with her new Magiki Mermaid):
Overall the box had 16 presents inside, 8 for each child which is just the right amount of surprises and very good value for your money with the box priced at 20.99£ – which makes it a few pounds cheaper then having to buy to separate boxes for both kids. I think its the ideal travel companion for plane or train journeys to keep the kids occupied and I am also going to consider buying it in the future as a little birthday gift for Finn’s Mates. Now that we aren’t local anymore and might not be able to attend everybody’s birthday party a Fred’s Box would make the perfect surprise present coming through the post!
I am a little bit of a newbie when it comes to unpacking videos ( I am not really the born Vlogger) so I let my kids hold the reins on that one and put a few snippets of their attempts on showing you whats in their Mojo Box, sorry for it being rather unprofessional but I hope it brings a smile to your face anyway it certainly did to me and the kids absolutely loved doing it and demanded to redo it a few times because they have forgotten to mention something:
You can find Fred’s Box over on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or on their website where you can check out the full range of boxes available!
