The New Compact Ion Pen from Sheaffer – Review

Lifestyle & Gifts Reviews

How often have you been looking through your handbag in desperate need for a pen and somehow there is never one to be found?? Well you don’t have to worry anymore because the new Ion Pen from Sheaffer is the perfect handbag size pen so you will always have a faithful writing tool on hand!

The pocket-sized Ion pen, measures just over three and a half inches making it ideal for writing, taking notes or doodling on the go. I am for one always in need of a pen when I am sitting in the car on the way to the shops remembering another item to put on my list so I attached my new white Ion pen onto my keys so I can always write down those last minutes shopping list essentials! But I can also see my husband using the pen when he is heading to work at the airport for his Electrician job. He always complains that his pens are going missing so I might lent him mine to attach to his work pass lanyard so he will always have it handy to write down the measurements or draw up some changes on his plans:

The Ion pen comes in six trend-setting colours, from understated classic black to head turning green, Sheaffer’s Ion is the perfect partner to any style or outfit whilst continuing to be convenient and compact:

Sheaffer launched the Ion as the 104-year-old brand undergoes a refresh so they collaborated with Bristolian artist Ery Burns for the new packaging of every Ion pen which features her funky artwork to give it a fresh new look:

Featuring a retractable mechanism and a refillable gel barrel that can be used alongside four ink colours, the versatile Sheaffer Ion is the ideal portable pen for professionals and creatives alike.

The Sheaffer Ion retails at £12.99 and can be found in all good stationery stockists.

My Verdict: I can see myself using this pen quite a lot (unless my husband claims it for himself) and I love how compact but yet still stylish the new Ion Pen is. I also like the fact that the pen writes really smooth and the black ink looks nice enough to write birthday cards or thank you notes with too!

Disclaimer: I have been sent an Ion Sheaffer Pen for reviewing purposes, but all thoughts and opinions are mine.
