My Birthday Celebrations – Turning 33!

Family Life Motherhood

This year I spend my birthday in Germany due to it being half term and my Dad’s 60th birthday celebrations in the same week. My mum always wanted to ‘gift’ me to my dad so she tried every old wives tale to lure me out of her belly but I was already strong-minded before even being born so I spend an extra 4 hours and 20 minutes in there so I could have my own day to celebrate.

On the morning of my birthday the kids presented me with some gorgeous homemade cards and my future SIL made me an amazing Ferrero Roche & Strawberry cake! It was even tastier then it looked I can tell you that! At lunchtime my dad and me made our way to the airport to pick up Mr. C. somehow we messed up his arrival time and he waited for us for an hour (but didn’t text me) whilst having some breakfast. In the afternoon we had some friends and family come around for coffee and cake and even more presents in the form of my favourite sweets!

It says: “Dear Mummy, I love you and wish you all the best on your birthday – 33”

On my Dad’s 60th Birthday Party my mum’s 2 best friends surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and my dearest cousins gave me a homemade carrier bag with fishes on (which came in very handy for my last present from frank and the kids – see below) and some kinder chocolate!

When we got back home from Germany Mr. C. and the kids got me a boots voucher to treat myself to some make up as well as a little beanie turtle which somehow ended up in MM’s hands and that’s the last I have seen of it and the big present was a day & night at the gorgeous and very posh historic Hartwell House & Spa the following weekend. I was wined and dined eating the most amazing food, had a very enjoyable sleep and lay in and a super relaxing facial the next day at the spa. I even had a little antique make up table in my room, which made me want to have one on my own, I loved getting ready sitting down such a luxury!

Guess here is to another year of fun, adventures and growing up for me until next February comes round!
