I have heard and read about The Siblings Project for quite a while now but never got round to actually joining in so I thought I give it a go because it would be lovely to see how Finn & Molly-May have grown over the year and I am rubbish in keeping up with Molly-May’s Moments so this is a nice way to combine both of my kids in a monthly post. I am guilty of taking way more pictures of MM then I do of Finn or both of them together which is down to the fact that I am spending more time with her because he is in School most of the day. With me starting this monthly siblings project I hope it will spur me on to take more pictures of both of them together.
We had a lovely Christmas together and both the kids got really exited from declaration the tree to reading books like “The Grinch who stole Christmas” to watching “We going on a Bear Hunt” on Christmas Eve and of corse the excitement of Father Christmas aka Santa as well as the German Christmas Angel aka Christkindl arriving at our house and bringing lots of amazing new presents! This was just one of many pictures I took in an attempt to create that perfect digital Christmas Card for Family and Friends:
Shortly after Christmas Finn’s Godparents Paul & Nicki always host a Boxing Day Fancy Dress Extravaganza and this years theme was 1970’s so what’s more fitting than dressing up as Rizzo and Danny for the special occasion the kids loved it and had a fantastic time. I adore this shot I took when we walked to granddad’s house to show him our outfits:
Despite it getting colder there is nothing better than a quick visit to our local park where we have a zip wire a train and some various climbing frames, a slide and of course the all important swings! We absolutely love having such a lovely little playground 5 minutes away from our rented house its perfect:
Now we are in January wrapped up all nice and cosy on the daily school run!
Finn loves being back at school and Molly-May is really enjoying her twice a week attendance at Finns old Nursery! Both children are now getting dressed by themselves downstairs in the morning where I laid out the clothes for them which is nice because that means I can get dressed myself with less rushing around.
Finn and Molly-May absolutely adore each other and Finn always lets her share his Lego and builds little made up Star Wars space ships so she can play along side with him. He does like to wind her up as well and knows exactly what to say or do to push her buttons but there bond when one of them is upset is so strong they both leave everything behind to rush to each others side for a big cuddle and a “make it all better” kiss.
