BLOG ON Manchester – A Trip Up North

blogging

Last  Month i treated myself to another rare child free weekend away and this time it took me up north to Manchester.

I never ventured as far as Manchester (or anywhere up north!) so i was exited to check out another city.

I once again was lucky enough that my lovely (Blogger) Friend Sadie who blogs at Tiaras and Wellyboots let me share her journey so May Bank Holiday Saturday morning we meet up in Henley to start our Road trip.

There was loud singing, chatting, laughter and fun to be had and after 3 hours and plenty of weather change we finally made it to our Hotel for the weekend the Premier Inn in Denton.

We had quite a bit planned but because we didn’t leave as early as anticipated we decided to just relax in our room for the rest of the afternoon.

In the evening we headed into town with Kara from Chelsea Mum who kindly offered to give us a lift to the Red Hot World Buffet Restaurant where Laura from Tired Mummy of Two who is the creator of Blogon arrange a pre BlogOn Meal for the Bloggers to meet and have a chat.

The next day it was a early start to get ready and head to the Museum of Science and Industry in  Manchester.  After attending Blog ON Winchester last year i was looking forward to experiencing the original Blog On in Manchester where it all started 3 years ago.

Packed with a empty large Suitcase (which is a MUST to bring along the reason for that is shown further down on the picture!) we made our way there for a full packed day.

Meeting brands, checking out new toys, entering competitions (pretty cool ones i must say!) spending money on the raffle and Tombola, catch up with familiar faces and meet lots of new bloggers too oh and learn stuff from the workshops although i somehow skipped that part this year!

And did i mention the amazing adult size ball pool from Swizzles to play in??!!

Because lets face it we are all still children at hearts right?

We eat cake, drank some (alcohol free) Echo Falls Wines and tasted the yummiest marshmallows ever! You’ve got to check out Cookies and Fluff!
There was some sweet treats from Swizzles to be tasted and some healthier snack on the Real Handful Stand.

If you want to have some more info on Blog On head over to the website and have a read, its one of the friendliest and relaxed Blogger Conferences i have been to and i would recommend it for everybody if you are a Newbie Blogger just starting out or if you have been blogging for quite some time there is something for everybody and you get to meet and get to know fellow bloggers, have a laugh, drink some wine, eat loads of food and come home with the most amazing goodie bags ever:

Oh and just before our child free epic weekend finished we went for a yummy dinner in a lovely little greek restaurant called Dimitris near Deansgate and the next morning we meet up with my Nephew Harley for breakfast wo lives and study’s in Manchester right now!
