Straight after BritMums this year a few of my blogger friends told me there will be going to BlogOn in Winchester and with it just being a 1 day conference i didn’t hesitate and just booked my ticket.
And then a few weeks before i got a email (reminding me) that its nearly BlogOn time.
Turns out the husband will be in Spain for his annual “golfing” weekend so my Cousin/SIL and her husband offered to look after the kiddies which was a big relive because i always know there having tons off fun with their uncle and aunty.
Getting up at 6.30am was the not so fun bit but i started to get exited once i picked up the
lovely Laura (Laura’s Lovely Blog) who i offered a lift after chatting online
on the BlogOnWin Facebook Group.
Upon arrival my fellow blogging chums Jo (Sit Still Monkey) and Clare (Emmy’s Mummy) greeted us and then we where whisked away to the name badge making table (getting all creative there!) before entering the rooms
where it all happened.
Now there is plenty to say about this fantastic day but here are my highlights of BlogOnWin:
with “only” 70 Bloggers (and 10 speakers) it was a lovely warm atmosphere and you actually got to say hello to everybody and have some longer chitchats with a few.
the brands reps where all smiles and the most friendliest Bunch of PR’s I have come across at a converence!
My personal highlight was the talk from Sarah unmumsy and of course the 2 funny ladies going by the name off Slummy Mummy’s and last but not least the goody bags where WOW!
(I did not win any prizes on the raffle but i was lucky enough to get away with some smaller
Tombola prizes which are just perfect for the kids and Mr. C.’s Christmas Stockings)
So was there something i didn’t enjoy?
Seriously i cannot fault the day at all other then that little WIFI issue we had but hey i had half a day some internet and the other half i just left my phone in the bag to listen to some interesting talks so it wasn’t that bad an yeah the space might have been crowed in the hall where the brand reps had there stands but it worked somehow.
I had such a great time that i am already contemplating on attending the next BlogOn in May 2016!
Manchester here i come! See you there!
