Degustabox February

Food & Drinks Reviews Subscription Boxes

It’s always exiting to receive a Degustabox delivery and check out what goodies

will be in this month box for us to discover:

Lets start with the sweet stuff:

#1 I have to admit Lily O’Brian’s Cocoa Cookie Crunch from Ireland’s best loved Chocolatier, didn’t even survive the taking pictures part yes i photographed a empty package but it was just too good to be left sitting there! They not only taste and smell divine they also  come in a clever little reusable pouch for those who are good with not eating it in one go
(points the finger at myself!!)
#2 The American Muffin Company produces muffins, brownies, cake and cookies who are gluten & wheat free they only use high quality products such as cocoa content chocolate chips and Sicilian lemon oil. I wasn’t such a big fan of the muffins if i am honest although the texture was very nice and fluffy, i am guessing the taste was a bit strange to me because i never eat something
gluten and wheat free before.
Onto the savoury bits in the box:

#3 The Original Melba Thins are quite something! Just like the package says we really enjoyed those 10 individually packed up light snacks. With savoury or sweet topping for the night owls or early birds they make a lovely breakfast or late night snack for everyone!
#4 The Whole Earth 3Nut Spread is filled with Sunflower, Pumpkin and Flax Seed and has a rich and unique taste. I topped mine up with some local honey my mum send me over from Germany and it was just the right nutty mix for my afternoon pick me up snack! On its own it has a rather strong nut taste but mixed with the honey it was just right!
#5 I was very intrigued by this the Beet It Sports Bar which is the #1 natural nitrate brand in the world and the bar contains c400mg of dietary nitrate and is used by over 150 universities worldwide for research into the benefits of lowering blood pressure and improving sports performance.
So i thought i give it a go with 30minutes to the start of my Monday night Zumba class normally i am ok with beetroot not a huge fan but i eat it unfortunately the taste of it was just a tad too strong for me  but guessing if you love beetroot this would be the ideal sports bar to take for you.
#6 Jack Link’s Beef Snack is made out of the best quality beef and seasoned with a unique blend of spices whilst oven roasted. Its certainly a great on the go snack for any beef lover out there.
It didn’t really do anything for my taste buts it was just a little bit too stronger taste.
#7 We love Schwarz Flavour Shots and the Indian Curry and Spanish Paella ones in this month Degustabox are no exception i never tried Paella before but i am looking forward to giving it a go!
And last but not least there are the drinks:

#8 This is THE drink for any Peanut Butter fan! Meet the world’s first Peanut Butter flavoured hot drink by Peanut Hottie! The distinct peanut butter taste, aroma and colour are the results of real American peanuts blended together with a special flavour and carefully selected ingredients to create a smooth, velvety indulgent instant hot drink – certainly a change to your normal tea or coffee!

I was very much looking forward to it and got rather over exited but it really wasn’t too my taste at all, maybe i am just not such a big peanut butter fan after all!

#9 Laimon Fresh is natures secret – a refreshing lightly sparking lemon, lime and mind flavoured soft drink using only 100% natural ingredients.

I loved this drink it was refreshing, just the right sort of lemon, lime and mint mix and the best thing its all natural! I am defiantly putting this on my shopping list!

Overall we only liked 4.5 items out of the 9 in the Box it wasn’t our favourite box of the ones we received so far but the chocolate alone made up for it, yes i am easily pleased!
