Degustabox December

Food & Drinks Reviews Subscription Boxes

We are on our 5th Degustabox and i here is what we found in our December Box, you can check out our August and September and October and November Boxes too.

Sweet things first:

#1
You cannot go wrong with any Bahlsen Product and those Choco Leibniz milk chocolate biscuits are  not to be left on the shelf! I have been a Bahlsen Fan since i am little they are really big in Germany and let me tell you something there just the kind of chocolate you add to your homemade gift hamper or bring a long with a bottle of wine when you visit friends for dinner. I never had the caramel version but there absolutely divine! The combination of the buttery biscuit soft caramel and melt in your mouth milk chocolate is just perfect!
#2
Bonne Maman Coarse Orange marmalade is fresh zingy and made with thick shred orange peels.
I am not a big Orange marmalade fan but i love their Strawberry version its certainly a deluxe marmalade brand for me!
Onto the savoury Goodies:
#3
Once again we have a Kent’s Kitchen Product in our box and its such a great little set for a quick and easy meal with just the right flavour!
#4
Well i never heard of Popchips before they are non friend non baked chips who pop up with meat and pressure to make a naturally delicious crisp with all the flavour and less then half the fat of friend crisps. And there are ideal for the calorie counting Person because there less then 100 calories in each serving. I tried them and my verdict is a OK. Not really my taste not sure why but i think for somebody on a diet or trying to cut down on fatty snacks its probably a good product.
#5
Firelight’s new Infuse cooking spray range helps you to season all sorts of pan fried and roasted food at the touch of a button. Its made with pure garlic and chili extract. We are yet to cook with it but its ideal for picky Mr. C. he doesn’t like any bits or garlic or onion but doesn’t mind things cooked in them!
#6 & #7
The Chia Co Oats+Chia are wholegrain pats and chia blended with the finest quality fries and coconut oil. These ‘just add water’ oats deliver a smooth and creamy texture, without dairy.
Chia seeds are full off omega 3, fibre and protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
I love having a bowl of oats, fruits and cornflakes with milk for breakfast so i added  both the products into my bowl and like the taste! Especially the Chia seeds which will be added to my next shopping basket for sure!
And last but not least the Drinks in our box:

#8
Gloworm are some premium mixers with a little bit of a different. They are sugar free and taurine free and come in 4 flavours. Raspberry & Orris for Vodka, Cucumber & Apple for Gin, Pear Spice & Lime for Rum and Ginger & Lemongrass for Bourbon.
Due to me not being back on the drink just yet i asked my lovely extended family to have a try and although they did look at me with a strange eye they actually enjoyed there little pre Christmas dinner Gloworm drinks.

#9
Now there is one Product for a fresh new start for the new year clean your spirit (or boy) with natures  finest fairly-traded Pukka clean green herbs. Let them dance in your cup for a while to realise the zing of whole Sicilian lemons and the freshness of dandelion root. One sip and you’re ready to sparkle.
I havent drank green tea in ages but reading this i cannot wait for a cup off goodness soon!

#10
Now theres one for a dry January. Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine is made exactly the same way as the wine you love minus the alcohol of course. This has been a big hit as a little jokey Christmas Present to Mr. C.’s best mate to remind him of the dry month ahead of him!
I have tried the brand before and really enjoyed it!

Overall we liked 7 items out of the 10 in the Box the only slight disappointing thing we thought was that it wasn’t very christmassy at all.

If you want to hear more about Degustabox head over to their website or check out their Facebook and Twitter Pages.
You can get your very own Box with 3£ off if you add the discount code: “8WG55” to your order!

Enjoy!!
