Brand new Bobux Xplorer Shoes coming soon!

Baby Fashion Reviews
We have been through a fair few of shoes, boots and slippers when it comes to Molly-May’s first year and let me tell you it got rather frustrating with loosing a shoe every 5 minutes!
So when there was a recent shout out on twitter regarding a new range of shoes for my little cruising explorer we where delighted to be part of a group of bloggers to be one of the first to check out the brand new product from their upcoming Bobux X Range.
I have heard about Bobux before when i have been browsing the WAUWAA Site for some bargains but the New Zealand born brand is not yet widely known in the UK.
But i am pretty sure that will change pretty soon when the launch there new Spring/Summer 2015 Range this February!
Bobux, who are the creators of baby, toddler and pre-school shoes designed to mimic the freedom of going barefoot had some help from the edgy footwear designer, Sean Maisano,
who previously created for the likes of Adidas and Prada to design the new X Range
which is a bold step in a new direction for them.
The Xplorer meets the needs of the child who is in the ‘learning to walk’ phase. This developmental phase requires shoes that are soft and flexible enough for crawling and cruising inside but also robust enough for the outside environment. So whilst there is indoor soft sole shoes and cruisers on the market there is nothing that meets the needs of both.

So, with this in mind Sean and the design team at Bobux created the Xplorer. The unique single layer construction allows the shoe to be as close to barefoot as possible and the flexible toe cap is ideal for the wear and tear caused by crawling and outside exploring.  The incredibly lightweight range is available in 9 vibrant hip colours and three styles; origin – with a leather upper, freestyle – a cotton canvas upper and arctic – with a leather upper and merino lining. RRP – from £27.

Here are some of the colours from the Bobux Xplorer Range:

We got send the origin style Xplorer Shoes with a blue sole and here is my little model
showing them off:

I love the fact that there are so bendy meaning when MM does stand up to cruise around the couch or use her walker she has plenty of flexibility when she decides to sit down for a little rest.

I am not a big girly and pink fan and i think those shoes are very unisex, stylish and with the added splash of colour on the sole they look very trendy indeed.

Putting the shoes on MM’s feet is a bit of a hassle but then to be fair i think most parents with kids on the move feel the same but once they are on her feet the fit is just right and they actually stay on her feet (well unless she thinks its time to try how nice the rubber sole taste like!)

So far we haven’t really tried them outdoors yet but its good to know once she gets more advances and starts walking whilst holding onto our hands we have some robust shoes for her to walk outside.

There is no doubt that in the very near future once she’s taking those first few steps and beyond we will check out the Step Up Range (RRP: from £35)
and once the walking gets more secure then we can move onto the
i-walk Range (RRP: from £42) i am very exited to see the new range with all those bright colours come out soon!
