A dry School Run Thanks to the BundleBean Go!

Baby Babywearing Pushchairs & Accessories Reviews Travel Products

If you are following my Instagram Account you might have noticed i am into baby wearing and with the winter coming i was looking into some options to keep Molly-May and myself warm and especially dry on those daily School runs.

I don’t use our buggy in the morning because i would have to park it outside his classroom which is up 4 steps and its all a bit manic. I know little Miss would start crying as soon as she sees me walking away and i don’t fancy leaving her outside the classroom because Finn always takes his time getting his jacket off, bags sorted and slippers on.

So I was debating between a Babywearing coat which is like a normal coat but mostly with 2 panels on the back and front to zip in so it creates a cover for us both. But after goggling it became clear that its a rather pricey option (mostly 100£ plus) so i looked for alternatives and that’s when i come across the multifunctional BundleBean Go!

After having a chat with BB Owner Emily she offered me their newest Elephant design of the BundleBean Go! to try out for myself:

Here is what BundleBean have to say about their Go!:

BundleBean GO is a cosy waterproof foot muff that fits snugly on to all buggies, bike seats, rear facing car seats and front style baby carriers. It also opens out flat for use as a travel picnic rug or play mat making it the ultimate one-stop-shop solution for busy parents on the go! BundleBean Go! fits all ages extending cleverly as your child grows, making it perfect from newborn to 4 years+.

Here are our thoughts after testing out the BundleBean Go! for ourselves:

First off i thought i show you some pictures of the back of the Bundlebean Go! It has 2 elastic straps on the top and 2 little ones on the bottom. The lower part of the Go! has got 2 zips which can be zipped up so the bottom half is raffled, you then can close up the bottom elastic straps to create a foot muff for you little ones feet.

Now I didn’t manage to take any pictures of the Go! in action on the actual school run because you might know that time is always running late when it comes to morning drop offs,
well that’s the case in our family anyway!
When i went to Blogfest last weekend we got caught up in rain on the way back to the station and i was more then pleased that i brought my G! along so Molly-May and me stayed dry.
It doesn’t have a hood (but there is a brand new version out which has a detachable hood called the BundleBean for Babywearing) but the Go! covered most of her head so it wasn’t that bad! She actually quite enjoyed those raindrops on her face and was chatting along all the way to the station! crazy child!
The next day (and with no rain in sight thank god!) i attached the Go! onto my Carrier and once MM was on my back i just slid the bottom of the cover over her legs.
The BundleBean Go! also has a nifty little pocket in the front where you can keep your hands warm which certainly will come in handy for the upcoming winter season.
When there is no school run to do and we are out with the Buggy Molly-May was very toasty and warm with the Go! used as a foot muff on her BJCM. And it matches the grey of the hood rather well i really like that (i am funny with things like that!!)
It also saved me from taking the rain cover with us the BJCM has got a rather wide hood anyway so with the Go! covering her legs its the perfect waterproof solution. The Go! is also brilliant for Car Seats as a blanket.
Our BundleBean Go! lives in the car because you never know when the next shower is coming so i always have a cover handy for Molly-May in case she has a nap in the car.
I would not hesitate, in fact i already recommended the BundleBean Go! as well as the         Babywearing version to my fellow local Baby wearing friends because it think its a brilliant (and affordable) product.
For only £29.99 you get a 8 in 1 Product: from foot muff, Car Seat Blanket, Rain Cover, Bike Seat Poncho, Sling Cover, Blanket, Emergency Changing Mat to a Picnic Ruck what more do you want! You can buy your own BundleBean Go! over here and whilst your on the website check out their summer cover (BundleBean Solar) and their brand new BundleBean for Babywearing!
And you can also follow the latest news, competitions and newest releases on BundleBeans Facebook and Twitter Page.

Disclaimer: I have been given the BundleBean Go! at the Baby Show for reviewing purposes, but all thoughts and opinions are mine.

Really like the print and the sling looks awesome. Only today I was telling my son that I used to carry him on my back. He found the idea funny. I got to find a few pics to show him :0) We've a few drenched school run as he now walks and my daughter is a bit too heavy to be carried on my back.. sigh..
