Check out the new 5 Step Weaning Plan from Cow&Gate

Baby Reviews
Molly-May is now 8 month and with her weaning in full swing after introducing to all the different sweet and savoury flavours i just hit a brick wall. Somehow my memory of weaning Finn almost 3.5 years ago has been vanished and i was lost what to do next.
So i was more then happy when Cow&Gate got in touch with me a while back and ask me to try out their brand new 5 Step Weaning Plan which was just the right timing in my hour of need!
To get us started we received a box full of 5 Step Weaning Plan goodies, from delicious food samples to a voucher and some lovely weaning accessories to help us along with our journey, how cool is that:
So let me tell you a little more about the new 5 Step Weaning Plan from Cow&Gate:
Cow & Gate have been helping mums feed their babies for 110 years, so they know how messy, fun and frustrating weaning can be. That’s why their team of nutritionists and baby feeding advisers have created the online 5 Step Weaning Plan to help parents take their baby from first spoonfuls to 3 meals a day, in 5 easy-to-follow steps.
Parents can personalise their mini muncher’s plan by adding the recipes they want to try to ‘My Plan’ and rate them with Cow & Gate’s fun ‘Eaticons’.
Each step of the plan includes a great selection of easy peasy recipes, designed specifically with baby in mind. For example, a simple apple puree that is perfect for first mouthfuls in step 1, building up to 3 meals a day in step 5, with salmon and butternut squash for tea.
Each step of the plan includes money-off coupons for various Cow & Gate products to assist parents on the weaning journey, such as fruit pots and jarred baby foods, packed with the best possible baby grade ingredients for little ones.

Here is what we thought about the 5 Step Weaning Plan:

Here are the 5 Steps in a run down for you:

Step 1
First spoonfuls – the goal is to help your baby eat from a spoon and introduce Gow&Gate’s top 10 first foods which includes apples, bananas and pears.
Step 2
Introducing breakfast – establish a breakfast routine after their morning milk feed.
Step 3
Offering variety -giving your baby a wider variety of fruits and vegetables.
Step 4
Meat, fish and alternatives – introducing the exiting new tastes and textures of meat, fish and vegetarian alternatives.
Step 5
Establishing 3 meals a day – putting the last 4 steps together 3 times a day.

The Step by Step Guide has so many features and if you are stuck you can get advice from the Cow&Gate careline team throughout to help make the weaning journey easier.
The top tips are great to read through and i feel like everything from what you need to start weaning to Mummy tips is included on the plan.

My favourite part of the plan is that you can add on receipts and give them a rating, i remember with Finn i wrote a list of his likes and dislikes the 5 Steps Weaning Plan makes it so much easier just one click and your little ones preferences are saved:

You can register with the online 5 Step Weaning Plan at the Cow & Gate Website.

And you can also connect with Cow&Gate through their Facebook or Twitter Page.

Well, i guess there is just one more thing to tell you:

Disclaimer: Cow&Gate have send me a goodies box in exchange for a honest review of their new 5 Step Weaning Plan but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
