Molly-May’s Moments – Six Months

Family Life Molly-May

Happy 1/2 Year Birthday to my darling daughter Molly-May Mia.

Thank you for enlighten the last 6 months of our life with your present!

Squeaking Noises
 – It’s funny really because i heard a few babies who where born early this year who just love squeaking and making very high pitched noises, well guess our little madame didn’t wanted to feel left out and is doing just that but she does mix a lot of babbling and random giggles in between it so its not that annoying!

Show me your tootsies
– Madame discovered her feet and its funny how she constant

DON’T start the music – it seems Molly-May has a very strong headed mind when it comes to music! As i mentioned it a few weeks ago on my First Steps Jumperoo Review post she cannot stand any music coming out of her bouncer, swing or her mobile above the bed. Even the hoover freaks her out (never known a baby who doesn’t like a hoover noise!!) so far she only likes German songs from Finnster and me and of course her favourite lullaby from daddy is the Irish song “fields of athenry”!

Sitting – She is trying her hardest and for the last few days she mastered the art of sitting up for a minute or two at a time.

Teething – I can feel the bottom 2 Teeth coming but they still have to come proper out and in the meantime she loves nothing else then a good old chomp with everything she can get her hands on!

Spinning round round baby round round – well her rolling has taken on a new twist and she can now spin about 180 degrees whilst rolling no play mat is big enough anymore give it 2 minutes and she is off it!

Give me my Food – We started weaning her a week ago and her first taste (a carrot) wasn’t to her liking but once Mummy put the sweet taste of sweet potato in there it was more up her street and she defiantly likes pears and couldn’t get enough of them it will be interesting to introduce some different food over the next month and find out what she likes and dislikes! I got send this brilliant new version of the old time classic Annabel Carmel quick and easy weaning book to review from whatsgoodtodo.co.uk the other day and its great that i can look back to find some new receipts to try out for her.
