Out and About Nipper 360 Single & Double Review

Family Life
I haven’t written a Pushchair Review for ages so i thought i update my “Pushchair Station” Section and hope add some more reviews over the next couple of month of all the rides we have tried so far.
I first used a Double Out n About Nipper 360 V1 when I started my Nanny job back in 2007 with the then only 6 month old Twin Girls and I have to say although I loved the fact that it was such a light and easy to manover double buggy, with working in London and travelling around mainly via buses & cabs I only used it to go for walks to our local park and opted for the tandem double to nip into the shops and day trips around town.
I also felt that the baby’s didn’t sit upright enough when they where smaller.
Back then I was a pushchair novice and advices my bosses to get rid of it because I rather use the P&T. Oh how did I regret that decision once the girls got older!
Looking forward quite a few years and after becoming a Mum myself I was asked if I would like to Child mind a same age baby then my son (then 5 month) for a 3 month period I excitingly went on the hunt to find a preloved double and funny enough a week later found myself with a double Nipper (V1 Model) again.
It was perfect for my rural area I am living in and although not the smallest fold it was fab to take with me for a trip to the nearest park to take a scroll around the Woods. The upright position was still not perfect but nothing what couldn’t be fixed with a spare blanket behind the backboard (that extra space always comes in handy if you are out and about with 2 kids!)
I loved the double so much that I bought a single for Finn to use as his off-road buggy after I finished minding the girl.

As I mentioned above the storage is not only a basket underneath the seat but also a net on the back of the seat as we’ll  as the area behind the back board.
There has been a lot of great improvements with the new versions of the Double and Single Nippers and the V2 & V3 is now:
– Travel System compatible (you can purchase a Carry cot as well as Car seat adaptors for be safe and Maxi Cosi Cabrio & Pebble Car seats)

– has a height adjustable handle (80-108cm)
– independent rear suspension
one pedal easy lock brake
quick release wheels
lockable 360 swivel front wheel
lightweight aluminium frame
– multi-position reclining seat
– retractable sun canopy with peek-a-boo window
– 5 point safety harness
– pneumatic tyres with 90 degree easy fill valve
– bumper bar
its suitable from Newborn up to 4 years (22kgs)
The new colours are vibrant and certainly will be spotted easily what started with

Red, Navy, Charcoal, Black, Camel for the V1 Models now went on to:
Purple Punch, Carnival Red, Lagoon Blue, Mojito Green and Raven Black for both V2 &V3 Models.
The first V2 Nipper 360 are 77cms wide which meant it shouldn’t fit through a standard UK doorway at 76.2cms, however apparently the triangular footprint means it will go through most doorways with a wiggle. In 2012 a new narrower Nipper V2 was introduced at a fantastic 72cms wide and now all the new V3 models of the double Nipper have the new narrow width.
The double weighs 11.8 kg and the single comes in at 9.8 kg and both are easy to push with 1 hand.
Overall I am giving the single and double Out n About Nipper 360 a score of 8 out of 10. The only negatives i can find is that it is a big fold as well as it is only forward facing (although with the V2&V3 models being Travel system compatible the first 6 month you can use the car seat and carry cot to parent face your baby).
