New Advanced Comfort™ TT Bottle Review

Baby Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Reviews

I have been a Tommee Tippee Fan for a long time, it started when i was pregnant with Finn, i bought a Nappy’s Dispenser Bin, a Microwave Steriliser, Bottle Bag as well as a set of TT Closer to Nature Bottles. And with Finn having to be 50/50 on breast and formula feeds from 9 weeks we made good use out of the bottles!

He was a very easy baby, no crying no fussing and he was never sickly after his feeds a brilliant little burper well we weren’t that blessed this time around little miss fuss pod who was “diagnosed” by the doc after her 6wks check with reflux has been a sickly baby from day 1.
After introducing a bottle (with breast milk) 1-2x a week she took to it like duck on water BUT same as on the boob she is a guzzler and downs it very quick.
Recently Tommee Tippee brought out some new advanced comfort range from Closer to Nature and we took some to Germany with us to see how it could help Molly-May’s eating habit regarding her being very sickly after having some milk.

Here is what Tommee Tippee have got to say about their new bottle range:
Colic in infants may be caused by a combination of influences including ingesting air during feeding. The new advanced comfort™ range from Closer to Nature is specially designed to help reduce air bubbles in the milk and to encourage a good latch-on to help reduce the risk of baby ingesting air during feeding. The air vents down through the tube and into the air-space at the base of the bottle, completely bypassing the milk.
It has a Unique tube and value system to provide optimum vending during feeding as well as the unique, easy-latch-on teat shape that promotes continuous feeding. Its a easy-hold bottle with a slow-flow teat. The Bottle is BPA – free.
Here is what we though after using the Bottle for more then 2 month now:
I like the fact that the bottle itself got purple writing on it, I have seen TT bottles go from white to black but this purple looks the best out of all the 3 it’s clear to read the measurements.
All the piece can be dismantled quickly and are easy to clean you even get a very thin long brush to clean the long purple pipe bit.
Did it work?
After a week of her drinking out of the bottle I decided to use our normal TT closer to nature bottles again to see if it really makes a different and although not much she still guzzles the milk down whatever bottle you give her BUT she certainly seem to take less air bubbles with her whilst drinking out of the advanced comfort bottles.
So I give the new advanced comfort Closer to Nature Bottles from Tommee Tippee the thumps up and defiantly would recommend them to my Mummy Friends if their baby’s are prone to colic and/or reflux!

If you want to know more about the new range head over to the Tommee Tippee Shop.
