Ewan the Dream Sheep Review

Reviews Travel Products
Before Molly-May was born i received a parcel with this little fella:
In case you haven’t heard about Ewan the dream sheep yet here is what it is about:
ewan the dream sheep® emits soothing sounds at a low base frequency and a calming pink warm

glow, which when combined, help settle babies and toddlers into a peaceful sleep.

The heartbeat and womb sounds are actual recordings, not computer generated and these have been proven to have a calming effect with even the most unsettled baby. Vacuum cleaner, rain and harp recordings together with the womb sequence provide 4 different calming sound tracks to choose from and all are combined with Mum’s resting heartbeat to provide extra reassurance. The sounds were trialled on babies and toddlers to find the most effective ones and only then were they included in our final ewan the dream sheep®.
He seems to be working his magic all around the globe and is even calming older children too… up to age 7yrs so far! ewan the dream sheep® can be used at home – cot, moses basket etc and also when out and about too, as he can be secured to the pushchair or car seat by his Velcro tail. ewan®’s tail is also great for securing a dummy or teething ring to, so there’s no worry about it getting lost or falling out of the cot or buggy.
Originally i intended on using ewan with Molly-May and he already was keeping her company in her crib at night but then a friend of mine came to visit us with her then 6 month old boy called Milo.
He wasn’t a good sleeper day or night he would only go to sleep when Mummy was close and he use to love when she turned on her Hoover App on her phone.
My friend asked me for advice and i was more then happy to help her and told her she can borrow ewan to see if he could work his magic, so our little friend packed his bags and went on a little adventure:
Now that a few month have past i asked Milos Mummy a few Question how he is getting on with his new mate:
Which one of the 4 sounds does he like best?
Milo responded to the heartbeat and the vacuum cleaner noise the best.
(she also likes the fact that the volume is quite high up which he needs)
Does he use Ewan all the time to go to sleep?
He is having his daytime naps in various places so he mostly goes to sleep at night with him.
It also use to settle him at night time when he wakes up, touch wood he is sleeping through now.
Overall Milos Mum was more the impressed with this little fella and needless to say Molly-May agreed with me that we can’t brake such a lovely new friendship which Ewan and Milo have, so he found his very happy forever home!

The only slight negative she found was the price tag of nearly 30 Pounds.
My theory is that you can’t put a price on a baby that sleeps well and i think Ewan should be on every new Mums List of must have items and i found i had plenty of Friends and Family who where asking me beforehand if there is something we need for the new baby.

After all a happy (sleeping) baby makes one happy Mummy!!

If you want to buy your very own Ewan the Dream sheep head to their website now where you can purchase him for 29.99£. For some more News and help why not check out Ewan’s Facebook and Twitter page too.
