Chicco Boppy Breastfeeding Pillow Review

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Reviews

When I went to the Launch of the new 2014 Chicco Range i instantly fallen in love with the Boppy Breastfeeding Pillow and was delighted when Chicco send me one to test it with my new baby.

The one regret I had when I had Finn was that didn’t fork out any money to buy myself  a proper breastfeeding pillow!

So I was delighted to receive a Boppy Breastfeeding Pillow to trial and it has been put to the test for the last 3 month!

This is what Boppy has to say about their BF Pillow:

Boppy, the feeding pillow that embraces both mum and baby to make this a soothing and gratifying moment.
Using the Boppy pillow when feeding eliminates stress for both mother and baby, encouraging a truly unique and exclusive relationship.

It’s not only designed for feeding you can also use it for propping, tummy time or sitting the baby up.

This is what I thought about my new Boppy Pillow:

The Boppy has been nothing but great It is very high on my top 10 list of Newborn/Breastfeeding Essentials.

The shape stays put – I think this pillow will never loose it’s firmness and will last a long time (forward thinking…in case we decided on a 3rd one In a few years time).

The design – it will hug around your waist which is brilliant and i could even dance with it staying around me (without the baby on it of course!!!

The cover – i love the fact that it got 2 pattern and also a winter/summer side I have been using the soft white side with the tree logo in the middle but in the summer the light cotton side with the funky trees all over will be cooling for the baby. I also love the quality of it, with Molly-May being a sickly baby I have been washing the cover at least every other week and it always comes out like new.

Now that Molly-May is getting a bit more interested in her surroundings and yes she is certainly a very nosey little character (not sure where she got that from haha) I sometimes use it to prop herself up a bit for a short period of time:

I didn’t think I could miss a pillow that much! As you might have read I am currently in Germany to is it a Family for another 5 weeks and the last 2 weeks I have been using a borrowed pillow filled with tiny little soft balls to move around and mould/create a shape well it’s like a liveless snake and doesnt deserve the name breast feeding pillow. Various times I used a simple couch pillow to feed her because anything is better then this:

So if you got one of those above or a even worse example of a breastfeeding pillow why not treat yourself to a proper one who you will love and enjoy using!

You can find a Store whom are selling the Boppy´s in all those great colourful patterns over here.

And if you want to keep in the know about the newest Chicco Products why not follow them on their Twitter and Facebook Page.

Disclaimer: The Boppy Nursing Pillow was send to me free of charge from Chicco for reviewing purposes however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
