Molly-May´s Moments – One Month

Family Life Molly-May

And it happened!! My Baby Girl is not a new Newborn anymore, she’s not a few weeks young anymore, no! she turned a whole one month all of a sudden:

She now weighs 9lbs 13oz thats nearly 1lbs from her birth weight, she certainly has had a growth spur since last week because she has been eating and sleeping loads.
She took on the breast like a pro and although she has a preferred side (little miss choosy) after a few initial hick ups and some help in a BF support clinic we improved now and feeding is all cushy.
The first few nights we had a few hours of crying (let me tell you she certainly does have a lunge on her!) and not wanting to feed at all although come the morning it was all forgotten again but since day 3 she seemed fine at night.
Although she is very demanding every other day throughout the day regarding feeding (for now Iam feeding her on demand) she already got herself Into a nice nighttime routine (long May it last!) and can go anything from 4-6hrs which Iam very thankful for!
The last 9 month in my belly she was a very active baby and there is no change since she was born she is wriggly and already likes to move her head up and shows you how stronger grip she has whilst holding her long fingers!

Unfortunately she is a very sickly baby so we are going through a lot of bibs muslin’s and change of clothes I feel like I am forever washing!
She loves to be on anybody’s shoulder for a cuddle and a little nap but her favourite place is On mummy’s chest in her close caboo carrier.
I am looking forward what next month brings just don’t grow up too fast baby girl!!
AK xx
