Last Friday after leaving the house 2hrs later then planned (yep I need to get use to having 2 kids now!!) and a journey full of crying and bad traffic we finally made it just before lunchtime to the Exel center for this years Baby Show.
After being there for just a few minutes I already bumped into some friendly blogger faces who all wanted to have a look at my newest addition.
With Molly-May fast asleep in the buggy I went of to check out the new Ooba from Cosatto doesn’t it look lush? My favourite is the duck egg blue and the inside fabric of the hood is just beautiful and defiantly would make you stand out from the pushchair crowd.
I was a bit too rushed so I didn’t stop for long which I regret now because after reading the brochure at home I fallen just a tiny bit in love with it (psst don’t tell Mr.C.!)
Here are my a bargains from the Baby Show:
On the way there the sun was shining onto Molly-May’s face so I decided to get some sunshades when I came across the new Buggy Buddy Sunshades I got a Monster one for Finn and a plain black one for Finn (the pink with a massive bow was just a tad too pink for me!) this shade is not only for the car you could also use it on your buggy or car seat because it has got a clever clip where you can attach it to anything and bend the arm with the shade on around as you need it!
I also got a cute wet bag from Cheeky Wipes which I am intending to use for my wipes nappy, nappy bags, creme and change of clothes If I am in a restaurant and she needs changing then I just need to take the bag out of my changing bag to take to the changing room!
I bough some new design Tommee Tippee Dummy’s, MM current got the TT cherry Soothers but the teat bit is just so massive and the new design ones are silicon (better then the latex where the dirt always sticks on so easily!) and similar shape to the cherry ones but smaller AND added bonus for me nice bright non pink designs.
I picked up some rather interesting and very useful products for my little lady from Bibetta, Funky Giraffe and The Gro Company as well as a lovely purple striped Stokke Blanket which will soon accompany a exiting new review product rather well in my opinion!
You can find out more about those products soon on my reviews page!
I meet up with the lovely PR Lisa and her equally lovely colleagues and after cooing over Molly-May she showed me a rather interesting newish range of pushchairs from Joie Baby the Owner Kenny based in China called his pushchair range after his daughter which I thought was rather sweet.
Joie Baby makes affordable and very practical pushchairs and funky highchairs called Mimzy and Mimzy Snacker and they are bringing out a rather exiting car seat for toddlers up to 7years onto the market (more info on that coming soon!)
My favourite item of their current range is the Mirus Scenic which priced at 120£ and is certainly a low budget but good quality lightweight pushchair with 6.8kg and the best thing the handle bar can be moved so the buggy is parent and forward facing with just one push:
Another stall which caught my eye, although to late for me because I am done with being pregnant (for now), was from a little shop called Anchor&Hope and is based in Bow in East London it’s a simple concept you bring your used Maternity wear to the shop and they sell it for you and you get 50% off the sale, such a brilliant idea!
Overall we once again had a brilliant time at the Baby a Show and can’t wait for another round in October!
