I recently came across a brilliant breastfeeding Item which i think every pregnant & breastfeeding Mummy should have on her to buy list.
Let me tell you a little bit about the story behind BelleBelly:
BelleBelly was designed by mum of two Katrina whilst she was pregnant with her second daughter. Katrina bought a couple of bump bands when she was pregnant with her first baby in 2006 but they just made her feel even bigger than she was already feeling. They certainly couldn’t be worn whilst breastfeeding so ended up banished to her knicker drawer never to be worn again.
When pregnant with her second baby in 2008, Katrina set about finding some clothing that she could feel confident and comfortable in. She wanted something she could use to cover her belly when her normal clothes were getting tight, and cover her up when she was breastfeeding.
Katrina couldn’t find anything in the UK so set about designing the item herself. She already won a mumprenur 100 award in 2011 for this fabulous product.
What i love about the BelleBelly:
– It’s 91% cotton which is a huge plus for me and my eczema prone skin and it’s not itchy at all with my first pregnancy I had the normal bump bands and somehow the stiching or label always rubbed.
– It gives me the freedom to wear my pre pregnancy tops without having to fork out more money to buy breastfeeding tops because lets face it most of them look boring and the nice ones cost a bomb and most new mums only got their SMP or MA to live on and cant afford expensive clothes.
– I like the feeling of the BelleBelly holding my flabby Belly together and support me a bit too.
– The extra length of the BelleBelly is brilliant with normal Bump Bands i always felt they where way to short but with this i can actually layer my clothes and dont have my post pregnancy belly exposed!
The BelleBelly comes in black and white in Sizes S, M and L and cost only 15 Pounds!
Disclaimer: The BelleBelly was send to me free of charge for reviewing purposes however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
It's a very clever idea, and I like that you can use it for both pregnancy and breastfeeding – great value. Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
