A new addition to the Stokke Family – the all new Stokke Steps

Events

I am a big Stokke Tripp Trapp Fan and always admired the Stokke Sleepi we went for a plain cotbed for Finn which i sold on because it was just so massive but once Blob its out of the co sleeper bed and in its own room i hope i saved enough money to get a lovely Sleepi!!
I have to admit although i am a big Pushchair Lover the Stokke ones don’t rock my boat (yet) but hey they cant please everyone with every product right?

On Thursday despite the rainy weather i went for my probably last ever trip to London (before Blob arrives that is only 11 more days to go!!) to have a sneak peak of a fab new Product:

Introducing the Stokke Steps – the All-in-One seating system from Birth:

First off there is the Bouncer which is made with a unique new cradling movement that mimics the feeling of being cradled in a parents´s arm. It has adjustable seating positions, a 5 point harness, lovely padded, washable covers and lies completely flat for easy storage.
You can then attache the Bouncer onto the chair and it becomes a comfy cushioned newborn seat which allowed you to hopefully eat your dinner hands free with the baby having eye contact and being close by.
The Baby Set for the chair has a cushioned backrest which is adjustable in height and depth so the baby can feel secure enough sitting inside it.
And Stokke outdone themselves and added an very spacious and easy to clean tray to the mix as well which i always felt was missing when i used our Trip Trap with Finn to start with.
Another thing which i adore is the smooth sleek curved design which i think would look fab on the dining table and will not be easily spotted on first looks as just another boring and chunky highchair.
The Stokke Steps comes in 4 lovely colours and is available in pale beech or dark walnut wood. Although i have to admit at first glance it isn’t the cheapest high chair on the market BUT which highchair will last up to 7 years or longer AND has the added bonus of a bouncer to attach to it too??
It retails at:
Chair: 157£
Bouncer: 149£
Baby Set: 35£
Tray: 39£

The Stokke Steps is now available exclusively at Peppermint in Chiswick and Huggle in Swiss Cottage. And if you are thinking of going to the Baby Show in February you can pop by their Stall to check out the Stokke Steps in all its glory!
Which colour and wood do you like best?
I cant decided which colour i would go for but i certainly would choose the dark walnut wood to match Finnster´s Tripp Trapp:

Disclaimer: I was invited to the Stokke Steps Launch but i was not being asked to write this post and all my thoughts and options are my own.
