Red Shoot Camping Park Review

Family Life Reviews Travel UK Breaks

Our first ever Family Camping Trip last weekend brought us to the lovely Red Shoot Camping Park in the New Forest in Linwood. So I thought i tell you all about the Camping site if you want to know more about our actual Camping Trip I also wrote about the full camping experience in another post.

Before entering the Campsite you drive through the Car park of the lovely “The Red Shoot” Pub which is always visitor of many lovely wild horses. Sundays they play live music and the food is great and the Staff is very friendly!

The Red Shoot Camping Park has a lovely little Camp Shop (which is open 7 days a week from 9am-5pm) where you can get everything from cold drinks, freshly baked cake and pastry in the morning (the warm croissants are delicious!!) a morning paper, Snacks, Toys to keep the Kids entertained as well as wine and beer for the evening BBQ at the tent. The site has a brilliant little Playground for the younger visitors with a sandpit and a climbing frame for those early morning get up activities (and a nice bench for mummy to sit down!)

All the Pitches are on grass and 46 of them have electrical hook ups (if we ever decided to upgrade to a camper trailer which i spotted on our weekend their and fallen in love with!)
The Toilets and showers are nice and clean and the site also got a family shower& changing room and disable facilities. Their is a Laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers where you can find all the information you need for planning days out. Their is also a undercover Area where you can do your washing up (but don’t forget your washing up bowl like me!!)

It is a very dog & children friendly Camping Site and we cant wait to return soon for another New Forest Adventure (but this time with a bigger tent that’s for sure)!

If you want to get more Information about the Camp Site visit their Website, like their Facebook or follow them on Twitter.

Happy Camping!
