Our 1. Blogger Event at the new Kiddicare Store in Enfield

blogging Events

The lovely People from Kiddicare invited us last Wednesday to our very first Blogger Event, to get a exclusive insight tour of the newly opened store in Enfield/North London.
A very exited Finnster and a (teeny weeny) nervous Mummy drove round the M25 to check out the Company who was voted Best Nursery Retailer by Practical Parenting and Pregnancy Magazine.

I already knew about Kiddicare through there online store where you can find everything you need from bump to 5. And if you already think the online store is amazing, you will be spoiled for choices by their Enfield Store where you can find over 3.500 baby buys and loads of extra features to make sure you AND your baby will have a fun time shopping.
The huge new store is packed with shelf’s full of car seats, highchairs, travel cots, nursery essentials, toys, furniture and of course my favourite item by far: buggies!!

After being greeted by the lovely hosts Jennie and Rachael we got to sit down for a coffee (or in my case it was a refreshing coke) in the cafe and whilst all the kids enjoyed playing in the little play area I had time to say hello to fellow blogger mummies.
Finn certainly enjoyed clowning around!

A short while later the lovely Matt who works for Kiddicare, invited us to take part in a guided tour through the massive 33,000 square foot Store.

From highchairs which you can test out on the table, stair gate rows (to let your other half have a go if he can open them), their new own brand baby toys, Kiddicare´s very own affordable -but very good value for money- new Nutmeg clothes range in lovely bright colours, to a wide range of car seats from baby to toddler and much more!!

Features I absolutely loved and I bet you will too!!

The store got a spacious cafe (enough to get your buggy around and park it up), brilliant digital price labels, a Customer Service desk in the middle of the shop where you will get all the information you need (and soon to come will be the order online and pick up in store feature).

Here are some pictures of the great mummy and me changing rooms, i love the detail which went into it, from a height chart with animal heights to the spacious changing area and the bump mirror.

Who wouldn’t want to have a “Walk in the Park” buggy lane to test out all those choices in pushchairs to be found in the shop! Test before you buy is defiantly a great area for the kids to check out all the outdoor toys for themselves, their is the brilliant buggy work shop where you can get your buggy checked over even if its not bought in the store, talk about service! And check out the oh so comfy Nursing Nest feeding room.

And that’s not all, there are even more great features to find in the new Kiddicare store such as free car seat fitting, a baby gift list service, 365 days return policy, there is a V.I.P. (very important baby) area where you can plan what to get for your new baby with a staff member, there is even a Kiddi Cinema for your children to be occupied for a while) and one of my favourites is the virtual queueing system for the car seats you just type your name and number in the little computer and carry on exploring the store once its your turn you will get a text send to your phone, brilliant that’s what I call service!!

In their very own Event room, we were lucky enough to get a great little entertainment session with the funny
Captain Fantastic. And as you can see Finn throughout enjoyed it and had a right blast “eating” the bubbles coming out of the machine before the show even started!! Picture shows some of the lovely Bloggers I got to meet Berice Baby, Rocknrollerbaby, Little Star & Me (not in the picture Confessions of a sahm, My Monkeys don´t sit still, EmmysMummy & Hart of the Munchkin Patch)
You can hire the Event room for your children party and under the week they have special classes such as music and baby massage they are offering right now.

We had a brilliant day and enjoyed every minute of it! THANK YOU to the Kiddicare Team who made us feel more then welcome!! And if that wasn´t enough we where lucky enough to get given an amazing Goodies Bag to take home!

If you want to know more about Kiddicare and to be the first to hear the latest news where they will open the next new Store and any other exiting things,  you can like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
