Last Friday did not only see the start of half term for Finnster (his teachers had a training day) but I also saw the start of another autumn round of The Baby Show held in London Olympia.
Upon arrival we where whizzed away to a private event room to check out the new Stokke Trailz & their other just released Pushchairs.
My next stop was Cheeky Wipes where i stocked up on some more wipes. We have the full kit and love it but with introducing food to Molly-May I wanted to get some softer ones for her face & hands so I got a pack of multicoloured velvet micro fibre Cheeky wipes. We have been using them for a week now and they brilliant and come out of the wash like new!
I loved the fact that I spotted so many stands with economical Baby Carriers like the Ergo, Lillybaby & Slumberoo as well as baby wearing products which brings me to BundleBean who are the latest company to jump on the bandwagon and bring out a super functional baby wearing cover with hood. A friend of mine actually bought one so I can’t wait to have a go with it when I see her again!
On the stand they showed the new BundleBean designs which are really nice! My favourite one is the grey/black elephant one which I was lucky enough to get give for reviewing purposes so keep your eyes peel for more on that!
But my Pushchair fix was far from satisfied so off i went to visit the iCandy stand if you have been a reader for a while you might know that we have been using our beloved iCandy Apple for both of the children (it even went abroad to be used for my cousins little boy in Germany in between) and i ALWAYS wanted to replace it with the iCandy Peach Jogger
because for me that’s my dream travel system!

But with Molly-May coming close to 9 month i am actually on the look out (and have been for a while) for the perfect lightweight yet stylish and practical parent facing Pushchair and that’s where the new iCandy Raspberry made his appearance.
It does tick a rather long list of my must haves and whilst admiring it a lovely iCandy Team Member offered to give me a demo and let MM have a little test drive:
I am a big fan of the red fabric and combined with the black frame it does look rather swish!!
It lays flat so its suitable from newborn without the need for a extra carrycot!
My favourite features have to be the freestanding fold (can you name me another lightweight buggy who can do that?I can’t think of one) and a very cleverly “hidden” drawer for some essentials like nappies and wipes or even your wallet!
I also came across a brand new product which i thought was cute and very practical at the same time! CupcakeBabies is a inflatable baby bath that will fit into a normal (kitchen) sink and its certainly the smallest baby bath i have ever come across.
We got given our very own Cupcake Baby Bath and i cannot wait to tell you more about it!

Whilst at the Show it was great catching up with Dani & her adorable Daughter E (It started with a Squish) Chelle & her little Froglet (Unique and Chic) who looked very snug in his stripey Stokke Explory, Laura & her son Oscar (Mummy’s Zone), Lauren plus bump & her daughter (Belle du Brighton) Laura & her 3 kiddies (Mummy is a Gadgetgeek) and last but not least it was lovely to spend the day with Carly and meet little Elsie at last (Mummy and the chunks) thank you for keeping me company! Oh and we also bumped into Kelly and Tia (More then just a Mummy) who’s growing so rapidly every time I see her pretty little face!!
Overall I had a great day although I missed out on visiting a few stands! I so wanted to check out what the hype is all about that new Doona which is a car seat that folds open as a pushchair for easy transport when popping to the shops, travelling on a plane, taxi, etc…. But I guess there is always next time so see you early next year at the next baby show in February!
