Here is what Jenny has to say about the Bugaboo Bee:
It’s difficult to believe that my son will be 4 in March. Thanks to him and his little sister (who’s recently turned 2) we’ve gone through our fair share of buggies and pushchairs. It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the choice. I remember going to look at pushchairs in John Lewis on Oxford Street when I was pregnant and I came out feeling more confused than when I went it.
We started off with a second hand Bugaboo Chameleon and there began my love of the Bugaboo brand! When my son was about 6 months he wanted to sit up and I wanted something a little more practical, so the Bugaboo Chameleon was replaced by a Quinny Zapp Xtra, a Maclaren, then a Mamas and Papas Voyage, a Phil and Ted’s Explorer and finally a Britax Affinity. I thought I had tested my last pushchair when last summer we were offered a Bugaboo Bee for a couple of months.
I fell head over heels in love with the Bugaboo Bee. We had a stylish black version and my daughter was as happy as I was. Easy on public transport, suitable from birth and compatible with a Maxi Cosi car seat, adjustable handlebar, multiple seat positions, easy to use brake, simple fold mechanism, small, light and roomy under the seat storage compartment.
She was able to fall asleep at the stop of a hat in it and we used it heavily for 10 weeks. I’m not ashamed to say I felt like crying when it went back. I knew it looked good and more importantly it made me feel good too!
