Thursday I went to have my 25 weeks check up with the GP and although normally he’s very good this time it was certainly a “patients in and out in 5-10min kinda day” for him.
He done the usual checks and told me my blood pressure is a bit low which is not too bad he pointed out to me that I might feel faint when I am further into my pregnancy.
I never had low blood pressure with Finn so it was new to me but after answering his earlier question how my pregnancy is going overall with: “well I am vomiting only every 3-4 days now after a few bad weeks and have been vomiting up streaks of fresh blood, loosing weight, loss of appetite…” And his reaction was looking at his computer screen and nodding his head I decided not to ask him what I could do to get my blood pressure up again.
He did inform me that I can have a flue jab for me now and wasn´t very happy when I declined and told him i didn’t have it with my first child and i don’t feel the need to have it with my 2. pregnancy either. He pointed out the risks and i told him i am happy to take those.
So exact 7 minutes into my stay I got a firm handshake good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and a good bye.
I got my Midwife 28wks check up in a few weeks time so we see how that goes ( I haven’t meet my local MW yet because she was on holidays or busy when I booked my earlier appointments).
